The history of our bodies, you taught me, is in each cell. And eventually stories of future generations, untitled offspring, mingle with my past family tree. Biology of time personified. These fantasies entwine into skin aligned just like the moon greets the night to simply catalyze. Daylight. To circulate blood flow. In the faint, morning light. And into the muscles in our eyelids that flutter and contract in moments of deep concentration.  That stare—like you’re somewhere in there. A dimension I refuse to intrude. In fact, I do believe that if I so imposed, my skin would be transparent in there. And in mine, I doubt you exist. So, I’ll leave to your own. Because we all need to maintain some mystery, don’t you think?   Hairs rise, but only because my DNA danced tonight.
